Salary Range: $180,729 - $209,590 per annum pending experience

 

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a suitably experienced leader to strategically lead education innovation, staff development and formation, and student transition and pathways across our Diocese.
Reporting to the Director, Mission and Learning, you will lead specialist teams across educational data and technology, First Nations innovation, teacher career development, Vocational Education  & Training and RTO management.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Innovation and Pathways function
  • Turn strategic priorities into practical system-wide initiatives
  • Strengthen student pathways and staff development
  • Oversee educational data, technology and innovation projects
  • Lead specialist teams and build leadership capability
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders

About you

You are an experienced leader who can manage complex portfolios, lead change and build strong relationships across schools and the broader education sector.

You will bring:

  • Educational Leadership experience in education
  • Experience leading teams and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong data literacy and knowledge of educational innovation and student pathways
  • Effective governance, project and change management capabilities
  • A commitment to Catholic values and First Nations education

You will hold tertiary qualifications in Education with master’s-level qualifications in education, educational leadership or theology.
