Salary Range: $89,525 - $102,735 (pending Experience) + Superannuation

 

As an Information Technology Infrastructure Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing, maintaining and improving infrastructure services across Townsville Catholic Education. Working closely with stakeholders across schools and the organisation, you’ll deliver reliable, high performing systems while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, performance and user experience.

You’ll contribute to the planning, design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, support business continuity and system resilience, and play an active role in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Working as part of a collaborative ITS team, you’ll help ensure our technology environment is secure, scalable and fit for the future.

You’ll bring strong experience in IT infrastructure, preferably in the education sector, with the ability to manage complex environments and contribute to the design and delivery of effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a skillset that includes experience with some of the following key systems and technologies:

  • Wifi and Networking: Management and maintenance of systems like Aruba Central and Clearpass.

  • Servers and Storage: Experience with platforms such as VMware and Windows Server.

  • Security Systems: Familiarity with CCTV (e.g., NX Witness) and Access Control (e.g., Integriti, Salto).

  • Router WAN Management: Knowledge of Cisco, HPE Silverpeak & Zscaler solutions.

  • Audio/Visual (AV) Systems: Experience with deployment and support of AV equipment and meeting room video conferencing solutions.

You’ll have well developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across a diverse organisation. With sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, you’ll deliver high quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
