Salary Range: $73,391 to $75,696 pro rata (pending experience) + Super
We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Officer to provide dedicated support to the Marketing & Communications team on a 6-month, part-time maternity leave contract based in our Townsville City office. In this role, you’ll assist with the coordination of marketing projects, events, travel and scheduling; manage correspondence and documentation; and help ensure the smooth and timely delivery of marketing and communication activities across TCEO, schools and the Diocese.
You’ll play a key role in developing and preparing written and multimedia content, updating digital platforms, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the rollout of campaigns and events. With strong attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach, you’ll keep operations running efficiently behind the scenes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
You’ll bring solid administrative experience - ideally within a marketing, communications or corporate services environment - along with excellent communication skills, advanced proficiency across Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and confidence working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Flexible, tech-savvy and collaborative, you’ll build strong relationships and contribute positively to a small, high-performing team committed to telling TCE’s story and supporting our schools.
