Team Leader - Inclusion Capability

Job No: TCE4495
Location: Townsville Catholic Education Office, Kirwan

Job No: TCE4495

Commencement Date: 19 January 2026

Salary Range: $ 153,472- $ 172,733 per annum + Superannuation (pending experience)

In this impactful leadership role, you’ll guide and support a dedicated team of professionals who deliver services that strengthen inclusive education across our schools. You’ll oversee capability building, develop proactive partnerships, and uplift practice across the system - ensuring schools are equipped to create learning environments where every student can thrive.

Every day will bring opportunities to shape how inclusive practice is understood and enacted across the diocese. You’ll work closely with schools to identify strengths, challenges and emerging needs, translating this into practical guidance, targeted capability building and resources that make a real difference in classrooms. Through your leadership, schools will receive the clarity, support and direction they need to embed inclusive practice with confidence and consistency.

You’ll bring demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams, along with strong capability in coaching, professional learning design and building educator capacity. Highly organised and forward-thinking, you’ll be confident managing competing priorities, analysing data to inform decision-making, and responding with clarity, empathy and sound judgement. Values-driven and collaborative, you’ll work in partnership with colleagues across the system to ensure consistent standards, equitable service delivery and a cohesive approach to inclusive education.

The successful candidate will possess proven leadership experience, full teaching registration with Queensland College of Teachers, a current paid Blue Card, an Australian driver’s licence as well as the ability to travel across the Diocese as required.
