Salary Range: $121,496 - $136,746 per annum + Superannuation (pending experience)
In this trusted and varied role, you’ll provide practical HR and Industrial relations guidance to help drive positive outcomes across our school communities. From case management and investigations to coaching and capability building, you’ll deliver solutions that balance compliance with compassion and align with TCE’s values.
Every day will bring opportunities to engage with a diverse range of people and situations. Drawing on your knowledge of industrial instruments, employment legislation and best-practice people management, you’ll partner with leaders to resolve complex matters and foster constructive, high-performing workplaces.
You’ll bring strong HR/IR experience, sound judgement and the confidence to navigate sensitive issues with care. Backed by tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline, you’ll combine professional expertise with empathy, resilience and integrity. Highly organised and adaptable, you’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
This role may at times involve reviewing or analysing potentially distressing or sensitive material. Townsville Catholic Education provides training, resources and wellbeing supports to help minimise vicarious trauma; however, applicants should be comfortable managing exposure to challenging content and have effective self-care strategies and support networks in place.
