Salary Range: $73,063 - $96,230 per annum pro rata depending upon experience
Tenure: Full Time, 9 month fixed term contract
Commencing Date: As soon as practicable

About the role
The Townsville Catholic Education Office is seeking an experienced and committed Talent Acquisition Advisor for a 9 month full time, fixed term position.
Reporting directly to the People and Safety Operations & Administration Team Leader, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will manage recruitment activity and attract the very best talent to support our student's learning experience. They will also play an important role in identifying and implementing process improvements and assisting with the roll-out of approved projects.
About You
- Previous experience in end-to-end talent acquisition delivery, including best practice talent acquisition approaches with a broad base of HR generalist skills.
- Good working knowledge of HR Management Information Systems/Talent platforms
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the provisions of awards, legislation, policies, and procedure
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice HR processes and contemporary and innovative recruitment and selection initiatives
- Ability to build rapport quickly and establish positive working relationships
- Self-motivation with a can do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and triage conflicting deadlines in a busy environment
- Experienced user in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Word), Google applications and database administration
- Exceptional administrative skills with the ability to maintain a commitment to compliance and integrity of processes
- Capacity and willingness to work both effectively in a team and autonomously when required
Mandatory Criteria
Level 5
- Tertiary qualifications at Diploma level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
Level 6
- Minimum 5 years experience in high volume end to end comprehensive recruitment
- Tertiary qualifications at Degree level in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in the education or training/VET sector
