About the role

Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers is seeking a dedicated Middle Leader - Pastoral (Years 9 & 10). This is a permanent teaching role with a 3 year fixed term appointment to the Middle Leader position.

The Pastoral Leader supports the mission of Columba Catholic College through effective leadership in supporting students as College and community members.

Mandatory Criteria

  • Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

  • Demonstrates active pastoral engagement, authentic witness, sacramental participation and leadership in the life of the Church
  • Professional activity through membership of professional association/s and on-going professional development.
